About The Stapleford Centre

The Stapleford Centre (UK) is an independent education centre, focussing on providing training for teachers, resources for schools and research into education.

We have been in existence for over 25 years. Originally called Stapleford House, the Centre's ministry grew out of the desire of the Association of Christian Teachers to ensure high quality RE and Collective Worship resources were available for schools.

In 1997 The Stapleford Centre was formed as an independent Christian Education Centre. Its reputation is founded on the innovative, high quality resources it has produced for schools, such as the Charis materials used in secondary schools across the country.

In recent years the aims and vision of the Stapleford Centre have been re focussed. It now provides training, support and resourcing to a wide range of teachers, head teachers and schools. It also hosts a range of projects which draw on the Centre's expertise. Transforming Lives is an example of the kind of project hosted by the Stapleford Center. Further information can be found on the Transforming Lives website www.transforminglives.org.uk.
